Two Great Band Celebrating Ten Years
It’s a great time to be in Madison, musically speaking. Two bands in the city’s current outstanding roster of talent are marking ten years and simultaneous CD releases.
The Getaway Drivers will mark both occasions with the release of Bellatopia (read the review here) at the Brink Lounge this Saturday. It’s abit of an early show (7 pm start) with Brian Daly and American Feedbag sharing the bill along with previous Getaway Driver members joining the band for a special set. This will be a special night of great music you won’t want to miss.
And, if balls-to-the-wall rock-and-roll is your thing – and I know it is – be sure to check out the Family Business as they mark both milestones at the Harmony Bar on October 17th. They will be releasing their fourth album Balls Pricey (read the review here) as well. If you appreciate no BS rock, you have to check this band out.
