In the middle of a global pandemic, Charles Walker and Porsche Carmon are taking the bold step of relocating to Los Angeles. The Charles Walker Band, one of Milwaukee’s more popular soul/blues/pop acts, is no more. A complete re-branding has taken place with the duo now creating as St. Oshun.

A new single – which can be heard at the link above – has now been released.

The duo will host a live virtual sendoff event September 24th at 7PM on Facebook.

The group’s focus has shifted and now aspires toward empowering women through pop. This can be heard on the new single with emphasis placed on Carmon’s significant vocal abilities. Though the Charles Walker Band exhibited plenty of soul and funk, St. Oshun updates that sound to fit squarely into current pop production trends accompanied with strong messaging.
