Two CD Release Performances at Wurst Times Festival VI

Updated Complete Lineup for May 28th

Wurst Times Festival VI: “Fear the Wurst!” will now be the host of two CD-Release events, further enhancing the outstanding lineup of local music.

Greg Thornburg will celebrate his new guitar instrumental CD entitled Hook Echo. Thornburg will open the MAMA High Noon Stage at 11:15. You can sample Thronburg’s tasty guitar stylings here.

The highly anticipate new recording from Oh My Love will also be unleashed at the festival. Ghosts and Bubblegum is already available for purchase here and will be available at WTF VI.

Wurst Times Festival VI will be held May 28th at the 701 East Washington St. complex, where the High Noon Saloon, Brass Ring and Brink Lounge are located. There will be an outdoor stage again this year along with a stage inside the Brass Ring and the MAMA High Noon Saloon Stage. Locally produced brats will be on sale along with locally sourced beer from Karben 4. There will be a large tented area in the parking lot so this event is RAIN OR SHINE.

Wurst Times Festival is a benefit for Second Harvest Foodbank and the Madison Area Music Association. Wurst Times Fest has topped the list in food and funds that are donated annually to Second Harvest with last year’s donation being the equivalent of 9,961 meals.

Suggested donation at the door is $10. Second Harvest will be on hand to accept nonperishable food donations.

This year’s slogan is “Fear the Wurst!” and there will be a very limited number of special t-shirts on sale.

More details on sponsors and raffle items will follow but the complete list of performers is below. It’s another great lineup.

Show your solidarity by supporting local music, these great local venues, locally-sourced food producers and be a part of strengthening unity in our community.
