Globe University, Broadjam, and the Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) proudly present The Pitch Sessions. Area musicians are invited to learn about the music industry and pitch their music to top music industry executives on October 11thfrom 7pm – 10pm at the Regent Street Retreat, 1206 Regent Street, Madison, WI 53715.
Globe University has assembled a group of top notch music industry panelists including Roy Elkins (Founder and CEO, Broadjam Inc.), Randy Hawke (Radio Program Director, WJJO), Billy Geoghegan (Consultant/Manager, Brown Paper Tickets), and Sandman (Sandman Productions). Globe University Music Business Program Chair Jim Brandmeier will be moderating the event.
Musicians wishing to have their music critiqued and considered must sign in and submit their CD at the door of the Regent Street Retreat between 6:30pm and 7pm.
Broadjam Production Manager Mike Huberty states, “One of the biggest problems for artists and performers on their way up is lack of professional feedback. You can send a thousand press kits and emails, but it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle. Broadjam is the website that guarantees interaction with music industry professionals and we’re bringing that experience live to Madison musicians.”
